NEWMARKET & TAUR PARISH

Our parish community looks to the future with hope and trust

Our Catholic parish is part of the Diocese of Cloyne. We have two Churches , Church of the Immaculate Conception (St. Mary’s), Newmarket built in 1840 and was newly renovated in 2011 and the Church of the Holy Spirit, Taur, which celebrated it’s centenary in 2015.

The parish of Newmarket & Taur includes many various and active groups and ministries, including Choirs, Liturgy Group, Eucharistic Ministers, Ministers of the Word, Collectors, Altar Servers, Graveyard Committee and many more. Building on strong foundations laid over many years, the people of the parish of Newmaket & Taur continue to give their time, energy and commitment in creating a thriving and active faith community. New volunteers are always welcome so please contact the Parish Office or the Priest if interested.
