Wednesday, 26th February is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the season of Lent. It is a day of fast and abstinence. Ashes will be blessed and distributed at 9am mass in Taur and at 10am and 7.30pm mass in Newmarket. Trócaire boxes will also be blessed at all masses.
